Estepona is the ‘other’ important resort town of the western Costa del Sol, situated about 20 minutes from Marbella, and consisting of the historic town and its fishing port, new residential areas extending from it, country homes surrounding the town and a coastal area extending from Estepona East to San Pedro Alcántara that is known as the New Golden Mile. Estepona is a classic Andalusian town with shops, restaurants, tapas bars, a lively social scene in its pedestrian centre, charming squares and beachside promenade.
